Here are Francis and Whiz looking a bit better already after 3 days.  Water and a little food sure go a long way! They are not allowed on grass yet but are trying hopefully to find something  :0)

Best Buddies!

Day 10 and these boys are sure looking better!  Weight gain and coat quality are coming along quickly.  Whiz's knee is progressing well.  Prognosis for Whiz is good!

The boys doing what they do best!

Whiz at our new farm!  He's coming along very nicely and is ready for his forever person.  He is super sweet to ride and is a very nice mover.

It's hard to get knee pictures of Whiz in the field.  He's so darn friendly!

Being a horse is SOOOOOO good when you have a full belly !

Whiz is a very nice horse who landed in the wrong place and now deserves to land in the right place.   If you are that place we would love to hear from you!  Whiz is super healthy and is gaining weight quickly with a normal feed program.  He is easily turned out in a herd.  Whiz is a very nice mover and learns quickly.  He has an outstanding mind and is very personable...loaded with personality!  Whiz loves to cuddle and is especially fond of apples.   Certainly he'll make a very nice LL dressage horse, trail horse or companion.  We have not ruled out the possibility that he will do more.

And 1 week later Whiz is giving pony rides!     He was a super sweet and quiet boy.  Here's Whiz with fellow COTH member Paige on board.  He's being led by Greg- our biggest and best surprise with our move!   Greg is responsible for the sanity around here by helping when he can.
