Meet Turner

Here are a few photos of Turner.  I will be building/updated this page frequently so check back if you'd like to see him progress.  Turner feels and looks better almost hourly.  I cannot think of a better Christmas present than Turner!  He has made our barn and home a happy, joyful place and reminded us of what the Holiday season is about.  I hope he does the same for you  Thank You Jen Arbogast for bringing us together!

This is Turner in April 2003 when he was in racing condition.

These photos were taken of Turner several hours after arriving from Ohio 12/19/03.   He was so thirsty when he got on the trailer he drank 18 gallons of water on the way to Ga.  He also ate hay the whole way.

Here he is 24 hours later before the clean-up began.  Already he's feeling better and is more hydrated.  What an affectionate and sweet boy!

Here's just 5 days later.  What a difference and boy does he feel better!

12/27-  It sure looks like Turner is feeling really good!  These pictures are the first time we actually saw Turner move above a slow amble.  HOLY COW!!!!  He's going to be a super mover!

Only his THIRD ride on 1/17.  WOW!  Such a clever boy and what a mover.

Here's Turner on 2/2.  He's really starting to gain muscle mass and is not quite so croup high.

This is Turner's first ride off the farm with my trainer on board.  Is she ever a Turner fan now!  He shows tremendous ability as an event prospect and was unflappable.   This was just 2 months after arriving.

At the end of March Turner is really starting to fill in and learn his job.  He is full of life and is downright joyful.  Now Turner is preparing to show and be sold....it's official, he is no longer a rescue!!!!!
